VeEX Inc., a global leader in Telecom, CaTV, Fiber, Transport and Broadband Access, today announced that it will be demonstrating its new 400GE test solution at the upcoming Optical Fiber Conference (OFC) taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, California, USA from March 21-23, 2017.
The new MPM 400G test module plugs into the redesigned, 1U Multi-Protocol Analyzer (MPA) mainframe which accommodates up to 5 individual test modules. Equipped with a single CFP8 port, the module supports full bandwidth traffic generation, PCS and RS FEC layer analysis, CFP Health check, multi-lane unframed BERT and Service Disruption Time measurements. The advanced hardware has been designed to scale and accommodate FlexE, FlexO, OTN and related applications as standards evolve and new requirements emerge.
“The MPA platform including the 10G and 100G modules have a strong and proven track record with NEMs around the world” said Keith Cole, VP Product Marketing for VeEX. “The availability of the new 400G module is perfect timing for many of our existing customers involved with the next generation of high-speed network development” he added. “Those MPA customers already familiar with the GUI, can easily reuse existing test scripts and working practices to integrate 400G” he continued. “Our initial market focus are the developers and early adopters of 400G ASICs, CFP8 optics, transport/switching modules, and service delivery”, he concluded.
